Pilipili Heʻe is the inoa Hawaiʻi for the thin end of a heʻe's tentacles. Our inspiration comes from our kamaliʻi days at Papa & Tūtū Dukes hale, always eager to see Papaʻs ʻeke holoholo. Papa Oliver Dukelow would always bring home heʻe in his ʻeke holoholo and taught us about this beautiful iʻa and the waters that he fished from. He always could count on this beautiful place of Waiheʻe to feed our entire ʻohana. We honor the natural beauty of the iʻa heʻe & this precious ahupuaʻa of Waiheʻe, Maui, that fed our family for decades. Mahalo iā ʻoe e ke Akua.
